Scholr Admissions Guarantees

for US applicants

If all of the minimum criteria detailed below have been satisfied and the applicant does not receive an acceptance offer to at least one medical school, we will refund every dollar you paid us.

Academic & Extracurricular Requirements

  • 3.40 cumulative AMCAS GPA from a US university, with a full course load every year of undergraduate studies, no failed or withdrawn courses, and a minimum of 3.0 AMCAS GPA in each year
  • 505 MCAT score, with no individual section score less than 124
  • 1,000 hours of extracurricular experience from a minimum of five distinct activities. A minimum of two activities must be ongoing at the time of application submission, and no more than 20% of the applicant's activities are permitted to have concluded more than 2 years prior to each applications' submission deadline.

Application Requirements

  • The applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
  • The applicant must apply to a minimum of 15 medical schools in the United States, whose class average GPA and MCAT scores, as reported on the MSAR database, must be equal to or less than the applicant's cumulative AMCAS GPA and MCAT score, respectively.
  • The applicant must apply to all of the above schools for a minimum of two application cycles, while using the services detailed in 'Service Requirements' below.
  • The applicant must meet all eligibility requirements for every school they apply to, in each respective year they apply.
  • The applicant must submit their AMCAS/AACOMAS/TMDSAS Primary Application prior to July 1st of each respective application cycle.
  • The applicant must submit their AMCAS/AACOMAS/TMDSAS Secondary Applications within two weeks of receiving them from each respective school.

The applicant must purchase and use all components of the following services provided by Scholr:

Notification Requirements

All of the following documentation must be provided within 48 hours of the applicant's final rejection letter in each respective application cycle:

  • Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate studies (must be sent directly from the University Registrar by mail)
  • MCAT scores from the AAMC
  • A complete copy of all submitted applications
  • Rejection letters from every school that the applicant applied to
  • Proof of United States citizenship or permanent residency status

If the applicant satisfies all of the above requirements and does not receive an acceptance offer to at least one medical school in their first application cycle with us, Scholr will provide the aforementioned services at no additional cost to the applicant for their second application cycle.

If, after their second application cycle working with us, while fulfilling all of the above criteria, the applicant fails to receive an acceptance offer to at least one medical school, we will provide a complete refund for all services used.
