Capitalize on your interview and get accepted to medical school

I wanted to extend a huge thank you to the Scholr team for their help with my ABS. I received interviews at three Ontario medical schools and was accepted into all three! I found it was really helpful to have someone who didn’t personally know me, share their perspective about my activity descriptions. The consultant was very timely in providing their feedback and pointed out some weaknesses in my 150 character descriptions which I hadn’t noticed myself. I felt much more confident submitting my ABS after having the consultant review my work so thoroughly. Thanks again :)

I am extremely satisfied with Scholr application services. I registered my daughter for application reviews and interview practice and we received excellent personalized feedback from them. I worked with Scholr this year to prepare for my medical school interviews and was accepted to Queen’s, McMaster and Western! Their team was extremely helpful in the interview preparation process. At the start I was nervous and not sure how to answer the various types of questions or how to best highlight my skills and experiences. I prepped for Casper and interviews with Scholr, and I am starting at Western's MD program this fall! When I started interview prep, I felt like I didn't know what I was doing and felt pretty out of my depth. The thorough, personalized feedback and advice were what I needed - I don't think I could've walked into the interviews feeling as confident as I did or improved as much without Scholr's help. Beyond the sessions, I really appreciated being able to reach out to the consultants for questions throughout the process, and I felt supported. The CASPer prep was really well organized and helped me finally understand (after taking it twice previously) what CASPer was looking for. It helped me form a solid framework for my answers, which was so helpful when I felt a little bit stumped by some questions on test day. I just followed the framework and my responses eventually fell into place :)

The feedback I received from my advisors for my mock tests was extremely helpful. I know that both advisors said that at times, they were being "nitpicky" with feedback but it's exactly what I needed to improve for test day. Thank you guys so much! This is the first time I felt confident going in, and the first time I didn't freeze up during the test.

Valuable service for a fair price. I signed up for the basic package and really appreciated the option to always sign up for more help whenever I needed. I ended up getting additional rounds of editing (needed more help with some schools than others) and the feedback I received was clear and constructive. The coaching, handouts, and mock interviews were well structured and organized. Their coaches gave me really helpful and thorough feedback, answered the (many) questions I had during the process, and recommended excellent resources - I definitely felt like my interviewing skills improved significantly. I felt prepared walking into the interviews, and I know it was in large part because of their help.

I contacted Scholr to help me with my interview prep and they were very prompt with connecting me to their coaches. They were very accommodating and provided me with great tips and new perspectives that helped me feel very confident on interview day and helped me gain my spot in DAL med class of 2026.

I got into Western! I'm so excited to finally write this review because I don't think I would have made it here without the Scholr consultants. There's so much about applying to medical school that I didn't understand at first. The work they did on my essays really helped my application stand out.
